Tony Icaza founded Route A Logistics after more than two decades of logistics leadership. His career includes senior roles at CH Robinson, Maersk, DB Schenker (now DSV), and other major logistics organizations — roles that involved managing large carrier networks, leading operations teams, and working directly with manufacturing and industrial clients.
He founded Route A because he saw a consistent gap in the market: mid-market shippers who needed the operational discipline and direct leadership access that large accounts receive at major brokerages, but who were instead getting assigned to junior account managers and automated systems. Route A was built to close that gap.
